Privacy Policy
Shop Quest Play is a Shopify app by Kovos Labs. It helps merchants create product-discovery campaigns, render shopper quest experiences, fulfill rewards, and measure campaign performance.
Data we collect
- Shopify shop domain, install id, app embed state, billing status, and plan limits.
- Campaign configuration, target products or collections, reward settings, and campaign dates.
- Pseudonymous shopper session ids and quest events such as exposure, start, collectible found, completion, reward unlock, add-to-cart, and attributed purchase events.
- Optional email or SMS information only when a merchant enables lead capture and a shopper submits it.
- Support messages sent to Kovos Labs.
Data we do not collect
Shop Quest Play does not collect raw payment card data and does not modify checkout. Public storefront tokens are short-lived and campaign-scoped; they do not grant merchant admin access.
How data is used
We use data to operate campaigns, persist quest progress, fulfill rewards, prevent replay and abuse, enforce plan limits, provide merchant reporting, support customers, and maintain security.
Uninstall and deletion
When a merchant uninstalls Shop Quest Play, storefront rendering stops and scheduled activity is disabled. Data deletion or access requests can be sent to support@kovoslabs.com.
